Quality Enhancement Through Industry Involvement

As a further assurance of our commitment to quality, consistency and reputation, Cardinal Fastener is
actively involved in both of the industry’s main trade associations—the National Fastener Distributors Association (NFDA) and the Industrial Fasteners Institute (IFI).

Because many fastener products are used in safety-critical applications, our industry specifications for both dimensional and physical properties of fasteners have been standardized by these outside organizations.

The IFI, the leading association of North American fastener manufacturers, is responsible for working with both national and international technical organizations in developing technical practices and application engineering for fasteners.  As a member, Cardinal Fastener receives and contributes technical information
for manufacturing and assisting customers.

The NFDA is actively involved at the federal government level on such critical industry issues as the Fastener Quality Act. In addition, many of Cardinal Fastener's distribution customers are also members of the NFDA.

Commitment to Renewable Energy

Cardinal Fastener is actively involved with the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA). AWEA is a national trade association representing wind power project developers, equipment suppliers, service providers, parts manufacturers, utilities, researchers, and others involved in the wind industry - one of the world's fastest growing energy industries.
